Kerry is the son of multi-award winning country music artist, Dottie West, who for years served as her tour manager and sound engineer.

Since 1993, Kerry has been employed as audio engineer for country music entertainer, Ronnie Milsap.

He has designed audio systems for churches and theaters around the country, including the Ronnie Milsap Theater in Myrtle Beach, SC, as well as conducting audio seminars across the region.

As a studio engineer in Nashville, Kerry has had the opportunity to work with some of country music's finest: Trisha Yearwood, Lari White, Deanna Carter, Connie Smith, and many others, including Christian artists Jim Cole (Impact Records), Kelly Willard, Bruce Carroll, LuLu Roman, and Larry Ford (Gaither and Friends).

He has recorded song demos for some of the hottest writers in Nashville, who's songs went on to reach huge success:

"I'm Looking For Something In Red," written by Angela Kaset, recorded by Lori Morgan.

"You And Only You," written by Chuck Jones, recorded by John Berry.

"Love A Little Stronger," written by Chuck Jones and Billy Crittenden, recorded by Diamond Rio.

"Faithfully, " written by Pam Rose and Chuck Jones, recorded by Peter Cetera.

"It's What I Do," written by Chuck Jones, recorded by Billy Dean.

Kerry has engineered concert performances for artists such as Ronnie Milsap, Ricky Skaggs, Marty Stewart, Steve Wariner, Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers, Fabian, Frankie Avalon, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Restless Heart, Kenny Rogers, Dobie Gray, Gary Chapman, Don Moen (Integrity Music), Nicolette Larson, Mel Tillis, sister Shelly West, LuLu Roman, and countless others.

Kerry has engineered sessions for television, including music for the History Channel, NASCAR, and ESPN.

He has also engineered sessions for Maranatha Music's "Praise Series," for good friend and producer Dan Willard. ("Praise 18, 19, and 20")

A dream was realized in 1999 when Kerry opened his own studio, WestHouse Recording, where he and Kenna produce new artists, custom projects, and song demos.

His favorite bible verse: James 1:2-3 "Count it all joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith developes perseverance."
